Growing up in Prince George, BC, Cory found his interests early. Skiing was the centre of his life starting at the early age of 4. He was enrolled in many different racing clubs and eventually in early teens started to make progress towards the BC ski team. Unfortunately, due to a high speed crash on a downhill ski course, an early knee injury ended his pursuit of a racing career. Consequently, Cory's father, Bob, made a decision to put in a transfer to the beautiful Shuswap in a town called Salmon Arm. Once moved, Cory attended the Salmon Arm Senior Secondary school achieving high scholarly marks resulting in the principal's list. But, Cory found his passion more geared towards music rather than other studies.

Moving to North Vancouver in the late 90's Cory attended Capilano College where he enrolled in the Bachelor of Music Transfer program. Cory was honoured by being awarded the Bass section leader in the Canadian award winning ensemble "Cap College Singers".

After completing the 2 year program Cory's career interests had changed. Knowing he wanted to be debt free without student loans and in a different field, Cory moved to Grande Prairie where he worked on the pipeline as a foreman and a lead hand. He enjoyed working there and had acquired many skills but after 3 years Cory no longer wanted to abuse his body in the subzero temperatures working the long 14 to 16 Hour days.

Cory moved back to the Shuswap in 2001 and enrolled in the Real Estate Prelicensing course completing it with marks at the top of his class in only 6 months. In May 2004, Cory jumped with both feet in to the Real Estate realm in Salmon Arm. With a very successful start, Cory was propelled into a strong career achieving the Silver Club Award in his first year of business. Soon thereafter, Cory became the Shuswap Rotary Club Secretary, as well as, he was nominated to be the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board-Shuswap Zone Secretary.

Now entering in his fourth year of business, Cory has received the Silver Club Award 3 consecutive times, been elected to President of the Shuswap Zone Real Estate board and continues to pursue his passion in finding that perfect home for you.
